G The dragon under Wawel hill, D He had a taste for maidens, King Krak had fed him sheep and cows, G But young girls he was cravin’ G The knights and lords across the land, C In their suits of armour bright, G They came to fight the dragon, D G But got burnt by fire bright, C G Dragon on the banks the Vistula, D G Dragon eats a virgin every day, C G Dragon turns brave men into fried bacon, D G The dragon that just will not go away. The king’s daughter was Wanda, The last virgin in the land, She’d rather not be eaten, So she came up with a plan, Whichever man could slay the beast, She would be his prize, But the dragon wouldn’t fall by might, The victor must be wise, Dratewka was a shoemaker, But a chemist on the side, He sewed some tar and sulphur, into a dead sheep’s hide, The dragon ate the morsel, Which made his throat so dry, One gulp from the Vistula, Blew the evil worm sky high,
