Cabin Fever

A parody to the tune of It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas by Meredith Willson

I’m beginning to feel the cabin fever,
Stuck here in my home,
Take a look at the news at ten,
Infections are up again,
The government is looking for a loan.

I’m beginning to feel the cabin fever,
Toilet paper there’s no more,
And the scariest sight to see,
is the shoppers that will be,
fighting in your store.

A pair of good hiking boots and a rifle that shoots
Is the wish of prepers named Ben,
Face masks for free, and some truth on TV
Is the hope of Nurses named Jen,
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again

I’m beginning to feel the cabin fever,
There’s nowhere to go
For I’m stuck in the same four walls,
The rhetoric just appalls,
the crazy kind that doesn't seem to know

I’m beginning to feel the cabin fever,
soon the shakes will start
But we all have to do our bit,
So stay home, make the best of it,
And play your part.
