Human hands spin the wool,
Human hands strike the steel,
Human hands coop the barrel,
Human hands.

Trades passed on by word or sign,
Down the generation lines,
Gifts to us from the divine,
But wrought by human hands,

Human hands shape the clay,
Human hands chip the stone,
Human hands weave the fibres,
Human hands,

Human hands strike the chord,
Human hands pen the word,
Human hands guide the paint brush,
Human hands,

Human hands place the stones,
Human hands carve the bowl,
Human hands felt the fibres,
Human hands,

Human hands tend the flock,
Human hands make the food,
Human hands help each other,
Human hands.
