Uncle Sam,well He has seen far better days, And swaps freedoms call for Fascism in hope D of better wages, C D’ And the trillionaires are laughing, C As the orange crime ring, G Loots the House of State, And racists and bigots shout, C G At anyone left protesting at the gate, D It’s far too late, G Happy 4th of July, Bm Sad to say goodbye, C D It was okay while it lasted, G But now it ain’t. The founding fathers, Have gone out for a round of golf, Their wives divorced them long ago, They’re bitter and they’re lonely, The mechanisms built to keep us free, Are now twisted violent engines, Of anti-democracy, And the tiktok bloggers post their slop, And they snigger, At the ravings of the clown, Now there is no way to stop, We’re frozen as we Watch the ship go down, It’s going down,
